Loyal Barber
    Career Summary

    Loyal Barber began his career working in
    retail as a softtware systems manager
    with the Army & Air Force Exchange
    Service (AAFES) where he was
    responsible for the design and
development of AAFES’ retail applications.  As a
founding principal of BLTSoft Incorporated, he has
provided technical services to such clients as Family
Dollar, RadioShack, Save-A-Lot, Zale, and Michaels.

Experience:

Loyal has extensive experience in both the business
and technology aspects of retail, with expertise in
database design and management, systems
performance tuning and retail applications.  He has
specialized in the successful implementation of the
Retek Merchandising System, Active Retail Intelligence
and the Oracle database tool set.  He has also
conducted intermediate and advanced training courses
on how to program using the Oracle toolset.

Loyal's software development management and
programming experience also includes work for the U.S.
Navy and Air Force on classified military systems.
